Petroleum jelly

Petroleum jelly is a mineral oil that has been used for hundreds of years, mainly for moisturizing and repairing the skin barrier. It is composed of saturated hydrocarbons above C15 extracted from petroleum, chemically stable, and does not need to add preservatives, so it is mild and non-irritating, suitable for people of various ages. In cosmetics, Vaseline usually comes in the form of white Vaseline and achieves moisturizing effects by reducing the loss of moisture from the skin. In addition, since petroleum jelly is insoluble in water, it is able to effectively lock in moisture on the skin. However, it should be noted that Vaseline is registered as a trademark and cannot be used in the product name at will.
